About Me:

Hello, I'm Lori Inkrot, a counselor for Kimberly Shultz Counseling. I hold a temporary licensure in Tennessee as an LPC. I hold a master's in mental health counseling from the University of the Cumberlands.
I see my clients through the humanistic psychology lens. I stress the inherent value of human beings and focus on their ability and willingness to maintain dignity while growing in self-respect and competence. I take the holistic approach (Salutogensis), integrating a sense of coherence between health, stress, and coping versus the pathogenic system that looks for a problem to be fixed. The wellness model sees the world as understandable, manageable, and meaningful. I incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with relaxation skills for general therapies such as anxiety, depression, and other mental health challenges. I apply Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Fast-Forward Trauma Therapy (FFTT) for adults, and Trauma Focused Cognitive Therapy (TF-CBT) for trauma therapies for kids and teens.
I am also now trained in EMDR!
Here are some of the situations I walk along and guide clients through to health and wellness:
Abuse
Anxiety
Addictions
ADHD/ADD (Executive Functioning skill training)
Depression
Grief & Loss
Self-Harm
Suicide ideation (CAMS model)
Trauma
We are often stuck or hopeless because of environmental, social, genetic, or life experiences. I don't ask what's wrong with you. I ask what has happened to you. I try to get to the root of the distress and walk clients through their struggles to give them the tools to find health and restoration holistically.
If you're ready to take the first step toward positive change and growth, I invite you to contact me for a consultation. Together, we can work towards a brighter, more fulfilling future.

Kristal Brown
Masters Level Therapist

About Me:
Hi! I am Kristal, and I am a master’s level Therapist.

I earned my Masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Grand Canyon University, a Christian college in Phoenix, AZ. My goal is to become an LPC-MHSP.

I love helping individuals with various backgrounds and experiences reach their fullest potential. I believe everyone, regardless of life experiences, should have the opportunity to improve whichever struggles and life challenges they may have experienced, or are currently experiencing, through therapy. Simply put - everyone deserves to feel accomplished and fulfilled in life.

Through my studies, I have come to understand that human behavior is a product of our background, upbringing, and/or the experiences we have faced in life - whether positive or negative. Sometimes we need help unpacking the "hard stuff" in order to understand the big picture. At times, therapy may be difficult and may be painful, but it would be my privilege to help you begin the process and to stay with you until you reach your optimal potential.
In my spare time, I enjoy being with my friends and family, walking the nearby trails, hanging out with my dog Pretzel, cooking, and watching any show that comes on Bravo. I would be honored to help you begin your path in reaching the life you both deserve and have the potential to lead.

Doris Laramore
Masters Level Therapist
About Me:
Hi, I am Doris, and I am a Masters level therapist.
My goals are to help people of all ages and walks of life reach their highest potential as individuals while living and experiencing healthier relationships with others.
I have history working with grief and loss, self-esteem, family systems, and anger management. I work from a systematic approach that includes attachment, strength-based, and cognitive therapeutic modalities. I am also now certified in Prepare/Enrich for couples!
My ideal clients are those who have experienced trauma as military personnel, individuals suffering from ministry-related burnout and/or abuse, couples and families in crisis, and adolescents who need help navigating the challenges of life as they develop to become successful adults.
I focus on each client’s therapeutic needs and collaborate with them to identify the root cause of the issue(s) they are facing, and help them know how to use their strengths and resources to approach life’s inevitable challenges. I believe therapy looks different for everyone, and together with my clients, a plan is created to help them reach their goals and purpose.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time and making memories with my family and friends, gardening, DIY projects, sewing, hiking, camping and reading books that exemplify the simplicity of life.
